The goal of CIMA research is to discover new disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets, identify and validate new diagnostic biomarkers, and develop therapies for diseases that pose major medical challenges. CIMA research is divided into programs in which the actual research work is carried out and platforms that provide their services to the programs.
CIMA is committed to being at the forefront of biomedical research in an environment of open innovation. To this end, it has signed partnership agreements with universities, technology centers, businesses, foundations, and other national and international bodies. CIMA is a member of the ADItech Technology Corporation.
Convinced that our professionals are our most important asset, Cima joins the challenge of the European initiatives "European Charter" and "Code of Conduct for hiring researchers" (HRS4R).
The objective is to promote the mobility of researchers in Europe and guarantee their professional development from the early stages of their career.
Biomedical research needs society to become involved in funding it, because it is society that benefits directly from its results. We need the support of donors whose contributions help make this research a reality. The patient is waiting and the situation is urgent.
